Vanessa Hudgens In Giamba – ‘Second Act’ LA Photocall

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the Vanessa Hudgens In Giamba - 'Second Act' LA Photocall

Vanessa Hudgens made a return to the red carpet for the photocall for STX Films’ ‘Second Act’ on Sunday (December 9) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a cute Giamba Fall 2018 dress which had a strong summery aura along with a hint of that boho vibe she tends to gravitate towards.

I love the attention to detail shown in lace bodice and the flirty above-the-knee length.

Gold jewels from Jennifer Fisher plus Casadei sandals completed her first act on this promo tour.

I’ m very excited to see what’s next.

Debby Ryan In Giamba – SiriusXM

Debby Ryan In Giamba - SiriusXM

Debby Ryan paid a visit to SiriusXM Studios on Monday (August 6) in New York City, where she promoted the new Netflix dark-comedy series ‘Insatiable’.

I love this look because on one hand she’s channeling feminine prairie vibes with this Giamba Pre-Fall 2018 dress which hosts a delicately frilled bib, while the Alchimia Di Ballin ‘Titan’ slouch boots give the look a cool edge and make it less predictable.

But were they too Fall-like for you?

Jenny Bird earrings and a soft pink lip completed her look.

SCAD FASH Premieres ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Exhibition

A collection of costars were in attendance to celebrate the SCAD FASH premiere of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ exhibition on Monday (April 30) in Atlanta, Georgia.

Amanda Brugel: Wearing a Dodo Bar Or dress, the Canadian actress went for a bewitching, moody glamour. Unfortunately, all of the ornate detail is lost because my eye goes right to the beige bra. Black or a true nude style would have presented a cleaner finish and allowed the details to shine.

Sydney Sweeney: The actress has been in quite the romantic mood of late and this Giamba Spring 2018 dress continued the theme. The sheer style is sweet but still chic. Paired with the platforms, it takes on a breezy summer sentiment.

Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ Red Carpet Roundup

Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ event brought out a bevy of beauties on Friday (April 27) in Los Angeles, California. They joined Storm ReidAngela Sarafyan and Yara Shahidi.

Skai Jackson: The Disney actress looked sweet in Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018. This is not the first look I would have expected from the designer with his classic, minimalist aesthetic, but think it suits her to a tee. The white and pink tie dye print and oversized T-shirt dress design are fun and feminine. The accessories also add fashion-forward appeal.

Madelaine Petsch: Opting for coordinates, the ‘Riverdale’ actress wore a head-turning Prada Spring 2018 look. Some might crave a cleaner finish, but everything is working from the stripes to the leopard spots to the graphic print in the Prada printed blouse. It presents a sophisticated rock ‘n roll sentiment.

Katherine Langford: The ‘Marie Claire’ cover girl embraced a retro romantic mood in a Markarian custom Fall 2018 dress. While the belted silhouette might be classic, the glittery pale pink fabric with red accents brought it into modern times.

Marsai Martin In Giamba & Alice + Olivia – Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ & FYC Event For ABC’s ‘Blackish’

Marsai Martin celebrated Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ event on Friday (April 27), joining Storm ReidAngela Sarafyan and Yara Shahidi before stepping out at the FYC Event For ABC’s ‘Blackish’ on Saturday (April 28) alongside Tracee Ellis Ross.

Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ Event: Floral prints are starting to appear more and more as the season progresses. The young actress put her own twist on the design in a Giamba dress. Trimmed with black, the detailing enlivened the mini’s pattern without coming across as too contrived. The strappy sandals cleverly echo the trim around the waist.

FYC Event For ABC’s ‘Blackish:’ It’s hard not to smile when seeing the graphic black and white polka dot top and sunny yellow trousers. The Alice + Olivia ensemble is cheerful, fun and still has a sophisticated edge from the sleek silhouettes. Her hair and makeup enhance the joyfulness and keep it appropriate for someone of her 13 years.

‘Westworld’ Season 2 LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

Many more stars joined Angela Sarafyan, Thandie Newton, and Evan Rachel Wood at the ‘Westworld’ Season 2 LA premiere on Monday (April 16).

Tao Okamoto: This Elie Saab Spring 2018 gown fully encompassed the designer’s foliage-driven collection with its leafy motif. Many of us will have to choose to ignore the visible nude undies underneath the sheer skirt, as I question whether black granny panties would have been any better.

Jonathan Tucker: Proving that men can certainly wear pink—and look damn handsome—Jonathan took a sharp turn in this Strong Suit by Ilaria Urbinati Collection suit that retained a sense of casual flair thanks to the unbuttoned dress shirt. Rich chocolate loafers and a David Yurman pinky ring rounded out the look.

Katja Herbers: I appreciate that Katja let her Giamba Spring 2018 mixed pattern frock with boho broderie influences stand on its own without the clutter of extraneous accessories.

SXSW Conference and Festival Weekend Roundup

A number of other stars were in Austin, Texas this past weekend for the start of the 2018 SXSW Conference and Festival. Here’s a look at what they were wearing.

Carla Gugino: The actress was a beauty in blue at the ‘Elizabeth Harvest’ premiere on Saturday (Marh 10) with this vibrant, high-low variation on the iconic Diane von Furstenberg floral wrap dress. I probably would have opted for a different shoe to let her red lip and matching envelope clutch be the accessories of note, rather than bring in the additional metallic shine factor.

Jamie Chung: Making a case for colourful stripes, this was such a graphically intrepid Ronny Kobo dress—and I loved its slightly dizzying effect at the ‘1985’ premiere on Friday (March 9).

AJ Michalka: At the ‘Support the Girls’ premiere on Friday (March 9), AJ turned up the charm in a Markarian ‘Theres’ dress. The only thing about this look was that I felt the black peep-toe shoes dragged it down somewhat.
