My best dressed is Zhang. She brought it style wise and theme-wise.
Others favorites: Karolina,Vanessa, Fan & Kate.

    • Phoenix May 9, 2015 at 7:17 am #

+1 Zhang did> It was so amazing in the most understated, unexpected way. In awe!

Although in hindsight, I totally get the colorful, dramatic way Fan Bingbing did her MET presentation.

  2. Chris May 8, 2015 at 1:42 pm #

    7. Jennifer Lawrence
    6. Zhang Ziyi
    5. Emma Roberts
    4. Emily Blunt
    3. Jessica Chastain
    2. Anne Hathaway
    1. Fan Bingbing

Overall not exactly the most excitig MET Gala-run, but it was alright.

  3. Joy May 8, 2015 at 12:01 pm #

Great picks FC!!!! I have to give it to my girl Fan. Amal & Karolina were equally spectacular. I didn’t even see Karolina’s look. Absolutely love her look!!!!

And great job, keeping it classy & NOT including the trash. (Kim, Beyonce & the other see through number I’m forgetting at the moment).

  4. kane May 8, 2015 at 10:23 am #

Bingbing for me too. I don’t think this night will have as much impact on my BDOTY list than last year though.

    • kane May 8, 2015 at 10:31 am #

than should obviously be as sorry.

  5. Chloe May 8, 2015 at 9:42 am #

All my favorites did not make it in this poll: Poppy was AMAZING with the red dress, only her could wear it and get away with it with such an ethereal grace. And then Jessica Chastain, and Cara (those tattoes were a great idea). And I prefer Lady Gaga, SJP was cool and I love that she chose HM but no match with the regal entry of Mommy Monster 🙂

  6. Cross May 8, 2015 at 8:12 am #

I voted for Bee Shaffer, but hoped that Georgia May Jagger made the list. That Gucci dress was tops.

  7. Tracey May 8, 2015 at 4:23 am #

    1. Fan Bingbing
    2. Bee Shaffer
    3. Rihanna
    4. Lizzy Caplan
    5. SJP

  8. Noah May 8, 2015 at 2:58 am #

This year’s met gala is so frigging lame…only a few really embrace the theme
And especially the gorgeous Blake Lively didn’t show up is the biggest let down after all!!

  9. alvaro_spain May 7, 2015 at 11:41 pm #

Who else doesn’t like Fan Bingbing’s look??

    • Matthew May 8, 2015 at 7:11 pm #

  10. brat May 7, 2015 at 11:25 pm #

Fan wins, with Zhang and Kerri Russel runners up.

  11. Kimma May 7, 2015 at 11:04 pm #

Fan Bing Bing was definitely the show stopper. My eyes go straight to her amongst the group. Honourable mentions to Bee, Lizzie, Emily and Anne. Off theme Emma and Uma look gorgeous too.

    • Kimma May 7, 2015 at 11:06 pm #

My three year old wants me to mention the red princess – Livia Firth -is his favourite.

  12. EmmaWoodhouse May 7, 2015 at 10:56 pm #

Awesome list! Shows that there was actually quite a bit of good. Fan wins for me, but as 7 of my top 10 are here 😀 it is a bit tricky! Zhang, Bee, Amal, Anne Hathaway, Livia Firth, and Emily Blunt are also strong contenders.

    Thanks again for wonderful coverage!

  13. Aminet May 7, 2015 at 10:54 pm #

Though it was probably gorgeous in person, Fan BingBing’s dress looks cheap to me. I just do not get all the hype about it.

Anne Hathaway was my best dressed at the event- followed by Bee, Rihanna, and Olivia!

Can’t wait for the FC round-up! xx

  14. Sanya May 7, 2015 at 10:51 pm #

Fan is definitely my favourite here. However, I start to really like Bee’s outfit now. At the beginning I only thought she looked ok, but the more I look the more I like it.

  15. Larissa May 7, 2015 at 10:42 pm #

Fan,Karolina and Zendaya are my favourites. Bee also looked great. I still have no words for Beyoncè, JLo (the absolute worst) and Kim K…and what is this madness I’m reading about Vogue naming her best dressed of the night?? What is Anna Wintour thinking??? I give up…

  16. Sarah May 7, 2015 at 10:24 pm #

My favorites were Diana Kruger and Jessica Chastain….

  17. Ramsay May 7, 2015 at 10:09 pm #

Unfortunately my favorite (Diane Kruger) is not featured (but understand people were not enamored by her look) so went with my second favorite Bee Shaffer – special mention for Anne Hathaway who seems to be back on form

  18. Hannah May 7, 2015 at 10:08 pm #

Emily Blunt on this poll is a joke. I also thought Jessoca Chastain and Kim Kardashian looked great.

  19. Cindy May 7, 2015 at 9:56 pm #

This is sooooo hard! So many amazing looks! I haven’t had the heart to actually vote yet. Fan, Zhang, Karolina and even Anne (although not really on theme) looked great.

  20. vanillarose May 7, 2015 at 9:50 pm #

    Where’s Jessica Chastain??

    • Bec May 7, 2015 at 11:52 pm #

Her look was nice, but it was not on theme and was actually quite forgettable (all I remember is that it was gold)…she definitely does not deserve to be on this list.

  21. Chris May 7, 2015 at 9:34 pm #

Kim Kardashian was my best dresses, followed by Jlo.

  22. dee May 7, 2015 at 9:31 pm #

Five way tie between Bee, Fan, Zhang, Emily and Karolina. All of these ladies looked gorgeous, looked classy and fit the theme.

  23. Nat39 May 7, 2015 at 9:18 pm #

Fan was great but for me it’s Zhang Ziyi. Her ultra chic and elegant way of being on theme is supreme. Carolina Herrera really knows how to create a great gala gown. Exquisite handling of the theme, the artistic fusion of modern and traditional is a masterclass – such beauty and a top-class, subtle and tasteful way to pay tribute.

    • Anne May 7, 2015 at 9:25 pm #

    • Phoenix May 7, 2015 at 11:00 pm #

+2 Zhang Ziyi looked like perfection to me.

    • Amy May 8, 2015 at 1:48 pm #

      agree. Zhang was utter perfection.

  24. Rachel May 7, 2015 at 9:18 pm #

My vote goes for Fan BingBing, since she is the only one of my top ten that made the list. Zendaya and SJP were in my worst dressed list, I totally dislike their dresses, maybe in carnaval?

  25. pinksugar May 7, 2015 at 9:01 pm #

I am truly baffled how half of these even made this list but besides that I think Bing Bing looked the best for the theme but Amal looked the best in general.

  26. Willian May 7, 2015 at 8:51 pm #

    Where is BEYONCÉ ?

    She were Gourgeous

    • Catherine Kallon May 7, 2015 at 9:05 pm #

She was by far the worst. She has no place on this list.

      • dee May 7, 2015 at 9:33 pm #

So true. Absolutely atrocious. Her look was WDOTY worthy.

      • Emily May 7, 2015 at 10:06 pm #

        Gotta love that English prudishness.

        • Catherine Kallon May 7, 2015 at 10:54 pm #

It has nothing to do with being a prude and everything to do with taste.

Calling me names just because your “Queen Bey” is not on this list is really immature.

          • Bec May 7, 2015 at 11:51 pm #

I nearly choked on my coffee when I read Emily’s comment…..I have so many people on my Facebook worshipping her look (‘SLAY QUEEN B, SLAY) and I find it so frustrating that people can’t be more objective about their favourites,

Beyonce’s whole look was absolutely woeful, coupled with the fact she turned up 4 HOURS late so all eyes would be on her is incredibly self serving and pathetic…..and don’t get me started on that OTT posing and horrendous ponytail.

She’s lost me as a fan, she needs to dial the ego back a bit and frankly just get over herself….

            • Bec May 7, 2015 at 11:53 pm #

Also I can’t wait to see what you call Beyonce’s look in your Round-Up 😀 😀 haha

              • Athena May 8, 2015 at 2:19 am #

+1 to both of your comments 😀

              • Ariya May 8, 2015 at 9:39 am #

                +2 to your comments! 😛
FC’s Round-up is exactly what I need after the disappointing Best Dressed listd on other sites.

            • Carolina May 8, 2015 at 9:52 am #

I think you mean 2 hours late. If the photographers are willing to wait for her, I don’t see the big deal here.

              • Arina May 8, 2015 at 12:51 pm #

2h is still 1h45min too late. Contrary to popular belief, this is not about the photographers! This is about an event that you’re invited to take part in, for which you’ve received an invitation that clearly states a time and dresscode. This is about respect for the organisers and other participants.
The world does not revolve around Beyonce. This event was not about her! It was not a gala honouring Beyonce! Even if it were, she should not have arrived so late! You need to show respect in order to command it. What she showed was contempt, shameless self-promotion (as if she needed more), utter disregard for decorum and guidelines, and the list can go on. She’s lost all sight of when she’s supposed to be the main attraction and when she’s supposed to be just another participant. I don’t know what she thinks she achieved with this attitude, but it’s nothing positive in the eyes of people who are more than just groupies that worship her every move and can discern for themselves when someone is in the wrong, no matter who that person is!

          • Emily May 8, 2015 at 3:20 pm #

Whoah KC, it was just a joke. I’m not a swarming member of the BeyHive! I just thought “She has no place on this list” was pretty funny. I had no idea I’d hit a nerve. No offense meant, bing fan of the sight!

        • Tracey May 8, 2015 at 4:19 am #

Prude? That thing was terrible. And has been done to death. Save that mess for the music awards.

And I agree, the coming in late was so so egotastic.

        • Carolina May 8, 2015 at 9:51 am #

LOLLL! “English prudishness” spot on, Emily.

  27. James May 7, 2015 at 8:40 pm #

Kim Kardashian was my best dressed. I loved her look. Beyonce was a close second!

  28. Dana May 7, 2015 at 8:39 pm #

So many good choices! Amal Clooney was my favorite, with Fan Bing Bing, Emma Roberts, Bee Schafer, and Olivia Munn rounding out my top 5, I think.

  29. B. May 7, 2015 at 7:56 pm #

For me Keri Russell was the best dressed, but she isn’t in the poll

  30. Christine May 7, 2015 at 7:55 pm #

Fan Bing Bing followed by Bee and Rihanna

  31. Yeliz May 7, 2015 at 7:54 pm #

Fan Binbing followed by Bee Shaffer and Zhang Ziyi.

    • Nicky May 7, 2015 at 8:00 pm #

+1, but Zhang Ziyi comes in second for me

  32. PAULO May 7, 2015 at 7:52 pm #

I love, love, love Emily Blunt in Prada. That said, Fan Bing Bing looked absolutely looked amazing in Christopher Bu. I think both ladies deserve the top spot for the event and definitely two memorable looks in my book for BDOTY!

Amal looks great but her dress really reminded me of Cameron Diaz’s Dior at the Met Gala years ago. I know both were designed by Galliano.

  33. Marian May 7, 2015 at 7:47 pm #

Bee Shaffer wins for me. Fan Bingbing comes in 2nd.

    • Zineb May 7, 2015 at 8:42 pm #

Same here. Bee 1st, Fan 2nd

  34. Alina May 7, 2015 at 7:41 pm #

Fan Bingbing wins this one, hands down! Emily Blunt and Zhang Ziyi are my runner-ups.

The fact that Rihanna has (at the moment) 10% of the votes is truly baffling.

  35. Chiliam May 7, 2015 at 7:15 pm #

Fan Bing Bing deverses to win this poll. One of the best look ever on Red Carpet.
