2014 Latin Grammy Awards

2014 Latin Grammy Awards

The 15th Annual Latin Grammy Awards took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Thursday (November 20) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Roselyn Sanchez: In her first of two looks, the ‘Devious Maids’ actress sparkled on the red carpet wearing a Dolce & Gabbana ultra-mini frock which she would’ve struggled to sit in.

Rocsi Diaz: The TV entertainment reporter was smouldering on the red carpet wearing an MT Costello Spring 2015 black gown with an intricate web-like lace bodice.

Cristal Marie: Showcasing her gorgeous figure, the singer wore a Badgley Mischka black and blue sequin gown effortlessly styled with a black clutch and silver jewels.

2014 Latin Grammy Awards 2

Lourdes Stephen: I adore her Oscar de la Renta gown. This gown was made for such an occasion. While I like the idea behind the green accessories, I find them both oversized and overwhelming for this look.

Eglantina Zingg: You couldn’t miss the TV presenter in her stunning Giles Spring 2013 black satin and tulle dress emblazoned with the collection’s signature white crane.

2014 Latin Grammy Awards 3

Natalia Jiménez: The singer showcased the brilliance of Zac Posen in this jaw-dropping lavender gown, which she styled with a complementary BCBG clutch and vintage amethyst drop earrings. She was my favourite on the night.

Roselyn Sanchez: The actress’s second look of the night wasn’t my favourite. Hailing from Ecliptica’s Fall 2014 collection, the look is beyond tacky. She’s borderline naked and with the visible panties she’s on course to being one for the WDOTY list.

Most of these looks are so dated or badly executed. These are beautiful women but terrible fashion sense. As for Roselyn Sanchez, you’re better than that. bye

Can’t say I like anybody, but Natalia looks the least terrible. Roselyn’s second look is sad.

This event really brought the tackiness and cheap-looking dresses. There is not one look from this round-up that I even agree is okay…

One of the worst collection of looks you have ever presented. The proportions are so consistently off in these choices. The only one that works is Natalia Jiminez.

+ 1.Not even Natalia Jimenez gets a pass here.

      I tend to agree.

I was going to say “Roselyn looks so naked” about her first look–and then I saw the second. Wow, tackiness personified and squared.

Natalia Jimenez of the group easily, I agree. Elegantly dramatic, colourful, and she nailed the styling. The rest are subpar either in a dress choice or styling department or both.

Re: Sanchez’s second look, I don’t understand why you would go to all the trouble of wearing a dress like that, only to let your undies show through.

Eglantina’s Giles dress is from the Spring 2013 RTW collection. It’s look #40. She was my favorite, followed closely by Natalia in Zac Posen. Thanks for you coverage, FC!
