Emily Mortimer In Christopher Kane – The 66th Annual Writers Guild Awards East Coast Ceremony

Emily Mortimer In Christopher Kane - The 66th Annual Writers Guild Awards East Coast Ceremony

Emily Mortimer used The 66th Annual Writers Guild Awards East Coast Ceremony held at The Edison Ballroom on Saturday (February 1) in New York City, to give us something new.

Usually, a lot more reserved, the British actress wore a micro-mini Christopher Kane Spring 2014 wool crepe sleeveless shift dress styled with a silver patent petal cut-out at neckline.

Opting for a hot pink lip colour, Emily styled her look with an Edie Parker clutch and black Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ patent leather pumps.

Too sexy for Emily, or why the hell not?

Sexier heels and hairstyle and I’m on board. The little dress looks good on her.

I think I will go with “why the hell not?” too. The dress is quite interesting and different from all the looks she has presented in the past.

Not sure about these cut outs, but she looks great!

It is nice to see Emily vamp it up a bit, and I like the dress. The shoes are not that great. They seem a bit safe. If you are going to take a chance, best to go all the way. The pictures are rather unfortunate. The very odd lighting makes her neck look grey.

Not really sure this is her “look”…

I’m going with why the hell not. It’s a fun dress, something new and it suits her – so really, why the hell not?

Why not? ;)) I think she looks great.
