Nina Dobrev In Christopher Kane – The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Nina Dobrev In Christopher Kane - The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Nina Dobrev continued to promote her new film, ‘Dog Days’ with a guest appearance on ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ on Wednesday (August 8) in New York City.

I’m not sure if it’s the torrential rain which has cooled this damn heatwave, or the refreshing change of pace from Nina, but I found myself very receptive to her Christopher Kane Fall 2018 velvet mini.

I love how the endlessly flattering silhouette meets a flash of ’80s flair for this simple chic look.

Stuart Weitzman sandals and a Chanel burgundy bag provided the finishing touches.

Chloe Grace Moretz In Bella Freud, Christopher Kane, Lorod & Simone Rocha – ‘The Miseducation Of Cameron Post’ Promo Tour

Chloe Grace Moretz In Bella Freud, Christopher Kane, Lorod & Simone Rocha - 'The Miseducation Of Cameron Post' Promo Tour

It’s been a hectic week for Chloe Grace Moretz as she continues to promote her new film, ‘The Miseducation Of Cameron Post’ in New York City.

SiriusXM Studios: On Monday (July 30), Chloe kept things simple and colourful wearing Bella Freud. A ruffled shirt will give any ensemble a polished finish, but when paired with this flame red flared skirt it gives the look just the right retro touch.  Jimmy Choo’s white ‘Minny’ sandals completed the look.

Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen: Later that same day, Chloe was like a new woman wearing a Christopher Kane tailored jacket from the Pre-Fall 2018 collection. I love how a swing of rhinestone fringe takes this classical silhouette into rock-star glamour territory. The question is, did Chloe sell the look to you? With the Studio 54-esqe makeup, she absolutely did. Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Origami Bow’ pumps provided the finishing touch.

Ciara In Christopher Kane – Serpentine Summer Party 2018

Ciara joined Lady Kitty Spencer at the Serpentine Summer Party 2018 on Tuesday (June 19) in London, although you would not have guessed that they were at the same event.

As you know I’m all about event and seasonal dressing, so I found it hard to warm to this Christopher Kane Fall 2018 turtleneck patchwork lace dress.

While it’s airy enough for a summer party, it feels more like a summer after-party dress, than the main event itself.

And a PVC yoke, or anything that housing perspiration on a hot, balmy evening, is a total head scratcher.

Kelela In Christopher Kane & Sies Marjan – 2018 CFDA/Swarovski Award Emerging Talent Cocktail Party & 70th Annual Parsons Benefit

Kelela put a fashionable foot forward at the 2018 CFDA/Swarovski Award Emerging Talent Cocktail Party on Wednesday (May 16) in New York City and at the Parsons Benefit on Monday (May 21).

2018 CFDA/Swarovski Award Emerging Talent Cocktail Party: The singer frequently wears tones of black and white and this Christopher Kane Spring 2018 dress presents such a dynamic mix with the white eyelet and inky black. Even though it’s festooned with ruffles, the dark fabric adds toughness along with the black boots. The black bra and white pants take away from the strong finish.

70th Parsons Benefit: She looked ready to party in a metallic Sies Marjan Spring 2018 suit and coordinating shoes. The rich metallic is gorgeous with her skin tone, but I feel some will take issue with the crinkled finish. While coordinated, the shoes don’t have the same impact as the runway version. Did you miss the belt?

Phoebe Waller-Bridge In Christopher Kane – 2018 Met Gala

Phoebe Waller-Bridge was in attendance at the 2018 Met Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 7).

The ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ actress was outfitted in a blushing Christopher Kane Fall 2018 look. The style captured the designer’s mastery of prints and texture and will no doubt be an interesting talking point as the ‘More Joy’ illustration references ‘The Joy of Sex,’ a 1972 illustrated manual of positions the designer was inspired by for the collection.

With the feathery trim it was a whimsical look and an interesting subversion on the night’s theme.

Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers Event And Believe In Dreams Campaign Launch Red Carpet Roundup

The Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers event and Believe In Dreams campaign launch on Thursday (May 3) in New York City was positively brimming with beautiful fashion moments. Attendees joined Sarah PaulsonGreta GerwigZendaya Coleman and Elle Fanning.

Hailey Baldwin: The model showed a softer side in Ellery Fall 2018. This was a nice change of pace from her typical on-trend style. There’s a magical quality from the prismatic fabric, silver shoes and pared-back styling.

Yara Shahidi: The ‘Grown-ish’ actress looked elegant in Prada. Given some of the high impact looks, I expected more drama from her. This still oozes sophistication, but I would have loved to see her in something head-turning like her Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ look.

Naomi Campbell: Combining a whimsical white coat with a sultry dress, she most definitely made a statement in Sukeina Fall 2018. The juxtaposition of the angelic frills with the sensual dress is dynamic and her unique interpretation of whimsy. Some might find it jarring, but it did succeed in commanding attention.
