Most Worn Brand 2013 – Dior

This past year, the most ubiquitous brand on the backs of red carpet beauties was none other than Christian Dior. Few celebs could deny trotting out the ultra-famous French label, which has long enchanted with its elegance and, now, its edge, too—especially with designer Raf Simons injecting his experimental and slightly surrealist spin on the latest collections.

A style staple during awards season and a fixture at major to-dos—from the Cannes Film Festival to the Met Gala and countless movie premieres—Dior indeed dominated.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt having three ‘it’ girls as Lady Dior and Miss Dior ambassadors, with Marion Cotillard, Natalie Portman and Jennifer Lawrence unsurprisingly showing off the designer on a continual basis.

Throughout the year, Natalie paraded out a wardrobe full of Dior, especially during the ‘Thor: The Dark World’ promo circuit, remedying any fashion fatigue some may have felt towards her partnership with the brand.

French actress Marion also did Dior proud (well, at least during the first part of the year), as she put her personal touch of elegant panache on her designer exits.

And despite much debate, Jennifer still delivered on some positively memorable Dior moments. She nearly exclusively wore the label throughout the year and at ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ premiere tour.

Other Dior darlings include Cate Blanchett, Emmy Rossum, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Natalia Vodianova, Nicole Kidman and Zhang Ziyi, with even more starlets seated on the front row at the label’s couture and ready-to-wear shows.

Even the guys got in on the action, with handsome fellas including Idris Elba, Liam Hemsworth and Bruce Willis each wearing Dior Homme.
