Menswear Monday Night Round Up

Menswear Monday Night Round Up

We haven’t seen many guys on the red carpet over the last two weeks; however, they were out in full force for the 2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards in LA, the ‘Man of Steel’ world premiere in New York and the ‘Summer In February’ gala screening in London on Monday night.

Zachary Levi: The actor showed love again for the British retailer Reiss, who decked the handsome actor out for the ‘Man of Steel’ premiere in a grey three-piece suit which fit to perfection. Opting to go sans tie, the actor styled his look with a white shirt and black derbies.

Zachary Quinto: The other well-dressed Zachary attended the 2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards wearing a slightly creased Todd Snyder maroon suit with a printed shirt; he also opted to go sans tie, completing his look with brown wingtip shoes.

Dan Stevens: The actor formerly known as cousin Matthew attended the ‘Summer In February’ gala screening in London yesterday evening. He donned a very sleek and shiny grey suit with a black trimmed shawl collar, which he styled with a black satin tie, white shirt and black shoes. Even though he has rubbed many up the wrong way with his glossy Hollywood makeover, I will say he has never looked better.

Dominic Cooper: The actor joined Dan Stevens for the ‘Summer In February’ screening wearing a Prada navy blue kid mohair suit styled with a blue shirt, a blue and black microprint silk-twill tie, silver sword motif cuff-links and blue crocodile shoes.

Dylan Sprayberry: What I love about young Dylan’s shiny grey suit, which he wore to the ‘Man of Steel’ premiere, is that he has time to grow into those pants. Keeping the look youthful, he wore black wingtip shoes with contrasting laces and a sleek black shirt.

Michael Sheen: The British actor sported a rather peculiar moustache on the red carpet at the 2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards, while wearing a classic tuxedo.

Dominic Monaghan: There are shiny suits and there are shiny suits. This one I don’t like. The jacket appears to be too long, the navy polka-dot bow tie is confusing and the beetle-print pocket square was no doubt added for a touch of humour, but the joke is on Dominic, methinks.

Allen Leech: The ‘Downton Abbey’ star opted for what I like to call a dressy casual look. Smart separates with a laidback vibe.

Laurence Fishburne: I love this loose-fit purple suit paired with a nude-and-black Asian script top. This is exactly how my dad dresses.

Russell Crowe: Like a few of the guys here, Russell opted to go sans tie for his red carpet look at the ‘Man of Steel’ world premiere. Only a real man can pull off a lilac shirt.

Seth Green: It’s not often a man wears a brown suit on the red carpet. While I strangely find myself liking the look, I think he could’ve been more creative by wearing a tie other than black.

Daniel Dae Kim: Despite shunning the formal dress code, the actor looked very dapper in his look, which featured a chambray shirt, beige jacket and dark denim jeans. He wants to be careful those jeans don’t rub off onto his light-grey shoes.
