who was your best dressed FC?

    • Catherine Kallon February 13, 2013 at 20:54 #

      Beyonce and Florence

  3. CreoleLady February 12, 2013 at 16:43 #

Glad to see Bey on the poll. This is the Grammys, not Oscars and not Cannes. Raising my hurricane (hey, it’s Mardi Gras) to looks rock-chic, glam, OTT , quirky, weird, fun and anything in between, dress codes notwithstanding. I do not want every red carpet to morph into a long gown parade.

  4. Dan Oliver February 12, 2013 at 16:27 #

I went for Rihanna but my best dressed was Katy Perry.

  5. michaboa February 12, 2013 at 16:11 #

I voted for kelly. I think she looked dynamite.

  6. esti February 12, 2013 at 14:45 #

I believe that we, the RCFA followers, have all become suckers for a princess moment…this is the best Rihanna has ever looked IMO. Thanks FC for the great coverage as always!

  7. Amy February 12, 2013 at 12:10 #

Solange is my fave, i just love the color combo. Then Kelly for bringing sexy back.

  8. Eimear February 12, 2013 at 09:21 #

RIRI.STUNNING, as usual. Cant even see anyone else.

  9. Rashmi February 12, 2013 at 08:12 #

Kelly for looking stunning, Beyonce for being different yet perfect and Rihanna for looking ravishing in red!

Hey FC, is the Kotur Cluth selection over? Just excited to know which one won 🙂

Also, Thanks a lot for all this coverage. Have been following your tweets and know how incredibly busy you are!

  10. Rashmi February 12, 2013 at 06:50 #

Kelly for her stunning presence, Beyonce for giving something new & perfect and then Rihanna for looking so ravishing in Red.

Hey FC, is the Kotur Cluth selection poll closed ??? Very excited to know the results 🙂

  11. JGH February 12, 2013 at 06:05 #

Honestly Rihanna is BDOTY worthy in this dress and that is never something I’d thought I’d say in reference in to the Grammys. She is stunning.

  12. Yeliz February 12, 2013 at 05:17 #

For the first time ever, I voted for Rihanna in a best dressed poll. She looked stunning.

  13. Prue February 12, 2013 at 04:08 #

Florence – it was a risk but she looked great and stayed true to her own style.

  14. Markness February 12, 2013 at 03:20 #

Where’s Katy! I love the color on her and her breasts were extra perky that night! 😉

  15. Nat39 February 12, 2013 at 03:17 #

The Alaia gown on Rihanna is ravishing, gotta vote for it. Solange and Taylor Swift follow.
This is without counting Jessica Biel’s ‘plus one’ look which was technically my favourite, absolutely loved it, it was all I’m looking for in a refined elegant look.

Mentally eliminating Florence from the poll, her look was hideous – from the monstrous gown to the overload of matching green accessories – it was a disaster.

    • rita February 12, 2013 at 09:04 #

Ditto! Florence’s look was beyond HIDEOUS if not CREEPY :-s

    • Nat39 February 12, 2013 at 16:32 #

I see Beyonce has been added to the poll, she is one of my runners-up for looking so chic in an unexpected choice.

  16. Marybeth February 12, 2013 at 02:34 #

FLORENCE WELCH. The soft red hair and edgy green gown — is she a medieval dragon lady or a mysterious queen from outer space? It’s a fantastic Grammies look for her, both imaginative and attractive.

I’d guess Beyonce didn’t make the poll because her outfit was too casual, which is a fair criticism, but she was my second favorite.
I’d pick Taylor Swift for third, even if we are all getting tired of her white dresses.

I can see why Rihanna’s look is winning but the only thing I love about it is the gorgeous dress color. The Barbie-with-a-nipple-ring just doesn’t work for me! 😉

  17. anjos February 12, 2013 at 01:53 #

Tough choice between two ladies in green.

  18. Mol February 12, 2013 at 00:32 #

Florence for me – it was fun, spooky, yet glamorous too, perfect for the event.

  19. ash February 12, 2013 at 00:11 #

Rihanna all the way, she’s never looked better. I would vote for Florence, but her dress really reminded me of dinosaurs.

Was last week’s Best dressed of the week poll closed? I know you’re really busy with all the events happening around the same time. We’re grateful.

  22. asherlev1 February 11, 2013 at 23:41 #

I’m really surprised Natasha Bedingfield isn’t on this. She was up there for me with Solange, who I ultimately voted for.

  23. justme February 11, 2013 at 23:36 #

From this selection, I would say Rihanna.
Though it is more for the intention than for the delivery.
I really forced myself to ignore the visible tracks and nipple ring because I love the idea of this look.

This is the second time that I think Rihanna looks exquisite, clean and elegant. The first time was in Tom Ford, I believe at the Costume Institute Gala. I often recoil at what she has on.
Solange also looks lovely. Forgive but I think J. Lo’s thigh would be better left unexposed and I think her tight top knot is evidence that this is not a good idea, for even one of the world’s great beauties.
IMO, Florence looks like she is wearing a dragon costume. I was at the shows at FW last night. Missed it all but happy to catch up here. Thanks as always FC. Hoping to see you along the way.

    • Catherine Kallon February 12, 2013 at 00:23 #

      thanks you x

  26. Sammy C February 11, 2013 at 23:28 #

Why people preferred Jessica Boring Biel or Florence Welch in her lizardesque fancy dress to be here instead of Beyonce, Nicole Kidman or even Katy Perry is beyond my understanding. Anyways…

    1. RiRi… Stunning

But as always I find it hard not to mention my runners up, because I think they came close.

    2. Solange
    3. KRo/JLo

I really liked Alison Williams but not at all her hair. It distracted me form her gorgeous dress too much.

    • Sammy C February 12, 2013 at 10:33 #

      Yay! Bey made it!

      1. RiRi
      2. Solange
      3. Beyonce

I totally missed Taylor first time around. She does look much better than KRo/JLo who I had previously put third since none of my other favourites were listed. But as much as Taylor Swift the celebrity irritates me, she is a better BDOTW contender on this occassion.

  27. MaddyEliza February 11, 2013 at 23:00 #

I think Carrie Underwood and Natasha Bedingfield should have been included in this, instead of J.Lo and Kelly Rowland. 🙁 Oh well…this is still going to be a difficult poll! It was a very well-dressed event.

  28. Rita February 11, 2013 at 22:54 #

I voted for Rihanna, she was drop dead gorgeous and the color is perfect. Solange was my runner up, I mean the color in that dress (also) is perfect and that hair is amazing.

    • Chanel February 13, 2013 at 12:23 #

      +1 Rihanna was FLAWLESS!

  29. MSquared February 11, 2013 at 22:49 #

For me, it’s Rihanna, hands down. She hasn’t looked this amazing since last year’s Grammy Awards. Along with Marion Cotillard in Dior Couture at the BAFTAs, a serious BDOTW (and BDOTY, for that matter) contender.

  30. EmmaWoodhouse February 11, 2013 at 22:47 #

    1. Allison Williams
    2. Jessica Biel
    3. Taylor Swift (with reservations about the plunging neckline and open sides)
    Didn’t like anyone else.

FC, you are a blogging superhero! You’re at Fashion Week, and YET we get up-to-the-minute BAFTAs and Grammys coverage! Thanks to you and all your guest bloggers for giving me a welcome diversion from schoolwork 🙂 🙂
Looking forward to the Oscars! 🙂

    • Catherine Kallon February 12, 2013 at 00:22 #

It has been our pleasure x

  31. ramsay February 11, 2013 at 22:41 #

It’s not an easy choice between Rihanna and Florence for me – I don’t really like Rihanna’s hair (that hair line is very weird, it is obviously a wig which is fine but the whole point is that it shouldn’t show) – Eventually went for Florence
