David Corenswet Wore dunhill Promoting ‘Superman’

David Corenswet was spotted in Midtown today heading into the NBC studios for a guest appearance on The Today Show alongside Rachel Brosnahan, and while the visit was business as usual, the outfit had me doing a double take.

You know when you spend so much time with someone that you start mirroring their speech, their quirks—or even their wardrobe? Well, it seems that David – dressed in dunhill – and his stylist Evan Simonitsch might have caught a little style contagion from Nicholas Hoult and Jason Bolden.

Did Nicholas and Jason invent this particular formula—knotted knit worn asymmetrically around a white vest, and soft trousers from? In my world, yes. Because up until last week, this exact combination hadn’t graced a sidewalk to my knowledge.

Whether it’s style inspiration or straight-up sartorial déjà vu, what I do appreciate is seeing David freed from the constraints of Clark Kent suiting. This look is more relaxed, a little breezy, and yes—those biceps are doing their part to sell it.

The plastic carrier bag? That’s the gag. This wasn’t style plagiarism — it was David poking fun at his high-fashion-loving co-star, right down to the black shoes. Evan, next time just borrow the bag too.
