Ralph Lauren at Wimbledon 2025 Part II
Today saw a fresh set of stylish guests taking their seats in the Ralph Lauren Centre Court Suite at Wimbledon—and as always, the American brand’s crisp, heritage aesthetic set the tone for a day of summer elegance.

Redemption arc, unlocked
The last time Cooper Koch wore a suit that wasn’t black (Tiffany & Co. event back in April), things didn’t quite land. But today’s double-breasted beige Ralph Lauren suit? A much better showing. Despite the featherweight fabric, the suit held up well and brought a sense of refinement to his look—classic, modern and understated.

Denim, but make it wide
I already hear the anti-oversized trouser brigade gearing up, but Emilia Schüle’s Ralph Lauren denim look works—at least for me. Yes, the trousers are undeniably wide, but she’s not drowning in them. The cinched waistcoat pulls everything together and balances the proportions. It’s a lot, but it’s considered.

From feathered to fresh
The last time we saw Jacob Rott, he was covered in feathers at the Tony Awards. Today, he swung the pendulum in the opposite direction, wearing a refined Ralph Lauren suit that spoke to classic sensibilities. Ralph Lauren does contrast beautifully, and while white trousers can be risky, the overall effect here was timeless.

Relaxed refinement
Joe Alwyn is usually all about tailored sharpness, so this dressed-down Ralph Lauren moment felt refreshingly breezy. An ivory bomber jacket paired with an open white shirt, matching ivory trousers and sneakers struck that perfect Wimbledon balance—cool, clean, and effortless.

Traditional, but never tired
Matt Bomer embraced the Wimbledon whites in a Ralph Lauren suit elevated with clever contrasts—a blue-and-white striped shirt and printed navy tie gave it just enough pop. On a sweltering London day, I’m sure he was relieved to be wearing those Ralph Lauren burnished calfskin fisherman shoes instead of something heavier.

He can do Understated
Ncuti Gatwa surprised me with a look that was, by his standards, practically quiet. He paired his Ralph Lauren fit with the same shoes as Matt, but dialled down his usual boldness. It was a more classic, restrained take—and it worked.

Boardroom cosplay?
I love the suit Olivia Cooke chose—this beige Ralph Lauren number. But on her, it didn’t quite come alive. Something about it feels a little too much like dressing up rather than dressed up. You know what I mean?

So wrong, it’s right?
Does Tim Schaecker’s Ralph Lauren yellow trousers technically work with his pinstripe blazer, striped shirt and printed tie? I want to say no—but I can’t help being drawn to it. It’s bold, it’s busy, and yet somehow … works. It’s the kind of layered, preppy chaos that only Ralph Lauren can make charming.
