Keira Knightley In Chanel Haute Couture – Investitures Ceremony

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature Keira Knightley In Chanel Haute Couture - Investitures Ceremony

Back in June, Keira Knightley was named in the Queen’s Birthday Honours, and will receive her an OBE for her services to drama and charity today (December 13) at the Investitures ceremony at Buckingham Palace in London.

The royal honour comes more than 15 years after the twice Oscar-nominated film star scored her breakthrough role as a football-loving teenager in ‘Bend It Like Beckham.’

Since then, she has gone on to star in several blockbuster films, and alongside Vanessa Paradis, she is the most recognisable face for Chanel.

So it wasn’t a surprise to see her wearing a look from the Spring 2017 Haute Couture collection.

The classic boucle suit, was a fine choice for the palace, but I love how Keira brought a touch of cheeky British charm to the look with the matching hat.

I’m not a huge fan of the Chloe Gosselin shoes, but from the ankles up this was the perfect look for a sunny Thursday morning in the capital.

Endlessly chic.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Chanel Haute Couture at the palace. You may remember that Dame Anna Wintour also received her honour wearing a look from this same collection.

Keira Knightley In Chanel Haute Couture – ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms ‘ London Premiere

Keira Knightley In Chanel Haute Couture - 'The Nutcracker and the Four Realms ' London Premiere

Keira Knightley joined Ellie Bamber for the London premiere of ‘The Nutcracker And The Four Realms’ on Thursday (November 1), where the Chanel ambassadors shared a sweet moment comparing their Haute Couture gowns.

As you know I was very happy to see Keira opt for something new in Givenchy for the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, but you can’t beat a classic Keira Knightley x Chanel Haute Couture moment.

Keira, who plays the Sugar Plum Fairy in the movie, wowed in a frothy, layered white Spring 2005 gown accented gold floral embroidery and a touch more sugar thanks to the pink belt.

She completed the dazzling look her hair scraped back into a simple low bun, plus bold red lip and sparkling Chanel earrings.

I think I love this look more than her Colette London premiere.

Keira Knightley In Givenchy – 2018 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards

Keira Knightley In Givenchy - 2018 Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards

At some point during Keira Knightley’s promo tour for ‘Colette,’ déjà Chanel started to kick in, and I was longing for something different from the British actress.

This evening (October 30) she delivered that something new at the 2018 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, in Givenchy no less, shaking me to my very core.

Firstly, is this allowed?

Secondly, how very refreshing this Spring 2019 pale-blue pleated dress is at first sight.

I know many of you have wanted to see Keira in Givenchy, so does this live up to your expectations?

What I love about this is how the bodice froths outward into a pleated swathe of asymmetry which keep the look modern.

Keira Knightley In Peter Pilotto – The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Keira Knightley In Peter Pilotto - The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Keira Knightley, who plays the Sugar Plum Fairy in Disney’s upcoming film ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms’, made a guest appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Tuesday (October 16), which now explains the sugary Prada dress from the night before – she’s limbering up for that promo tour.

While this Peter Pilotto Spring 2019 dress wasn’t Chanel, it kinda fits the mode of Chanel dresses that Keira tends to go for.

Cinched waist, tiered and navy.

I love the shimmering lurex fabric and the pearl accents which she complemented with her Tabitha Simmons metallic sandals, but I’m more excited to see what this new promo tour will bring.

Keira Knightley In Prada - ELLE’s 25th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

Keira Knightley was oozing ethereal elegance on the red carpet for to the ELLE’s 25th Annual Women In Hollywood celebration on Monday (October 15) in Los Angeles, California.

Taking a night off from wearing Chanel, the English actress wore a blue-grey Prada tulle layered dress with a floral embellishment at the waist.

Styled with her favourite Tabitha Simmons metallic sandals and Chanel jewellery, you’ll either find this too twee and saccharine or a refreshing change from the norm.

Keira Knightley In Chanel Haute Couture – ‘Colette’ Patrons Gala & BFI London Film Festival Screen Talks

Keira Knightley In Chanel Haute Couture - BFI London Film Festival Screen Talks Colette

London Film Festival Patrons Gala: On Thursday (October 11), following the premiere for ‘Colette’ during London Film Festival, Keira Knightley attended the Patrons Gala, where she wore another Chanel look fashioned with a retro-inspired silhouette. It was a very elegant choice for evening. I love how the demure dress is given a lift with her silver Tabitha Simmons ‘Kali’ sandals and classic CC Chanel belt.

BFI London Film Festival ‘Screen Talks’ with Keira Knightley: The following day (October 12) Keira rocked her third Chanel dress in two days. What I loved most about her premiere look, is that the silhouette and style felt very different, despite still being from Chanel. On this occasion the feeling of familiarity was apparent, but you can’t deny that Keira always possess a sense of girlish charm that is very captivating. Chanel jewels including the ‘Sailor Suit’ bracelet along with the silver Tabitha Simmons ‘Kali’ sandals once again, completed her look.
