‘Vice’ World Premiere

The world premiere for ‘Vice,’ which leads Golden Globe film nominations with 6 nods, took place on Tuesday (December 12) in Beverly Hills, California.

Lily Rabe: I know the perception is that The Vampire’s Wife only design one style of dress, but Lily’s ‘Belle No.1 Firework’ dress proves that theory incorrect. Yes, the premise is pretty much the same, but I just love how the vintage charms of this dress was a perfect fit for Lily’s style. A beautiful velvet blue bow completed her look.

Amy Adams: Luxe boho isn’t a style we usually associate with Amy, but that the mood she was concurring up in this bespoke Chloé pleated dress which was inspired by the Spring 2019 collection, which she amped up with a selection of gold jewels.

Alison Pill: The actress may not have opted for colour, but her look serves up plenty of texture wearing a Rachel Comey bandeau, top and skirt. It’s too bad the ruffles on the skirt are somewhat lost in this picture.

2018 British Independent Film Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the 2018 British Independent Film Awards

There were many more talented ladies who attended the 2018 British Independent Film Awards, which took place in London on Sunday (December 2), and some even followed the pink dress code set by Gemma Arterton and Ellie Bamber.

Naomi Ackie: Now this is how you seduce me in red. The ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ actress also had me captivated with the cape-effect of her look, plus the rainbow hued bag, and dazzling jewels. The jury is still out on the embellished platforms.

Molly Wright: ‘The A Word’ actress looked ever so dreamy in Dior. I know some of you are over these types of sheer, nude tulle gowns, but I’m swept away by the fantasy and beauty of it all.

Jodie Whittaker: Part of the pink posse, I did like Jodie’s APHID ruffled dress, but I feel like a less fussy shoe would’ve been a more elegant option for that step hem.

Alexa Chung In The Vampire’s Wife – 2015 Vintage Joy Sparkling Launch

Alexa Chung In The Vampire's Wife - 2015 Vintage Joy Sparkling Launch

Over the last 12 to 18 months The Vampire’s Wife’s signature dress has emerged as a clear celebrity favourite.

Alexa Chung was spotted wearing a silver version of the cult dress to the 2015 Vintage Joy Sparkling Launch at a winery in Adelaide, South Australia, following her green and red looks from earlier in the year.

No doubt Alexa is drawn to the retro, high glam nature of the dress, which has made the quintessential cut of TVW frocks a certifiable icon – much like the Roland Mouret ‘Galaxy’ or Diane von Furstenberg’s wrap dresses which are universally flattering.

Adding yet more shimmer to the look, Alexa carried a clutch bag from TVW plus matching pumps.

This almost feels quite bridal. I’m totally swept away by the romance of it all.

Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards

Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards

Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards took place on Sunday (November 4) in Los Angeles, California, where Rosamund Pike was joined by a host of other ladies.

Regina Hall: With a classic silhouette, this Monique Lhuillier Bridesmaids Paige strapless ruffle gown is so simple and elegant that it sells itself.

Zoe Kazan: Also opting for purple, I knew it was only a matter for time before we saw Zoe jump on The Vampire’s Wife love boat. I do love the way she styled her look with maroon pumps for a deep contrast.

Leighton Meester In The Vampire’s Wife – Build Series

Leighton Meester In The Vampire's Wife - Build Series

Following her appearance on ‘Good Morning America’, Leighton Meester continued to promote her new sitcom, ‘Single Parents’ on Build Series today (September 25) in New York City.

The actress may have taken some time out from the red carpet, but she’s very much in-the-know when it comes to The Vampire’s Wife.

I know many of you don’t drink TVW’s kool-aid, but I do admire how they have manage to have such a huge success on the back of a single signature dress. It’s quite genius if you think about.

It’s instantly recognisable, and it will never go out of style.

While I wondered if Leighton’s last dress would’ve worked with red shoes, I know they would’ve with this one.

Instead she opted for black Stella Luna ‘Red Carpet Silk’ sandals.

Florence Welch In The Vampire’s Wife – Mercury Prize 2018

Florence Welch In The Vampire's Wife - Mercury Prize 2018

Florence Welch of Florence and The Machine attended the Hyundai Mercury Prize 2018 on Thursday (September 20) in London.

The singer, who can be considered one of her founding members of The Vampire’s Wife’s fan club, wore a look designed by Susie Cave and partners.

While the silhouette and fabrication are instantly recognisable, Florence’s rose-gold dress takes on a few more ruffles than we are used to seeing.

Even though this feels like the 1,356th version of this dress, I don’t think Susie Cave’s design sit more perfectly on anyone, than they do on Florence.

Barely-there makeup and a beaded Gucci bag completed the relaxed boho look.

2018 GQ Men Of The Year Awards

2018 GQ Men Of The Year Awards

There were plenty more celebrities who joined Kate Beckinsale, Zendaya Coleman, Elisabeth Moss and Rita Ora on the red carpet for the 2018 GQ Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday (September 5) in London.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Back home in London, the model was giving us 90s supermodel in vintage Versace. This bondage style gown, which hails from the Fall 1992 collection, was oozing a high level of glamour and sultry sex appeal. With the styling, Rosie looks like she could’ve just stepped off a runway during that era with Stephanie Seymour and Carla Bruni.

Abbey Clancy: The British model wore a nearly-naked dress from Julien Macdonald’s Spring 2018 collection, which basically looks like she took an oily bath in glitter. I don’t have any problems with this style of dress so long as is tastefully done and the correct underwear is worn. You may remember that Ciara wore this same dress earlier this year, and her underwear was less visible.

Rose McGowan: As I’m full of flu right now, this Osman Resort 2018 coat would’ve been how I would’ve dressed last night.
