Lewis Hamilton Wore Burberry To The British Grand Prix

I spent the better part of last week stewing over the fact that Getty Images hadn’t uploaded Lewis Hamilton’s British Grand Prix look—only to realise over the weekend that the photos were filed under ‘Sports’ rather than ‘Entertainment.’ Classic schoolgirl error. But in my defence, my brain was already overloaded with Superman, The Fantastic Four, Wimbledon, and Haute Couture Fashion Week.

Anyway, the wait was absolutely worth it. After several circuits of sticking strictly to his team kit, Lewis finally gave us a proper paddock fashion moment at Silverstone.

Wearing a custom Burberry look, the British racing driver made a grand entrance in a burgundy gabardine trench vest and matching cargo trousers, both embellished with Swarovski crystals forming a Union Jack. Beneath that, a wash of purples, pinks and reds peeked through the crystal cut-outs, making it one of his boldest looks in recent memory.

While Lewis has had a long-standing relationship with Burberry, they’ve never gone quite this detailed or dramatic before. This wasn’t just fashion—it was patriotism with a sparkly twist.

And Lewis didn’t stop there. On his wrist was the Richard Mille 43-01 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph Ferrari, a watch made in collaboration with Scuderia Ferrari. The Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses were the finishing touch, adding just the right amount of off-duty cool.

After weeks of playing it low-key, Lewis reminded us that he hasn’t retired from the paddock style podium—he’s just been biding his time.
