Glenn Close Takes a Darker Direction in Simone Rocha at ‘The Hunger Games’ Premiere
After the colourful gowns worn by Mckenna Grace, Elle Fanning and Whitney Peak, Glenn Close brought a distinctly darker mood to the London premiere of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.
The actress wore a Simone Rocha Fall 2026 moss-green taffeta dress, featuring an oversized silhouette and gathered bow detailing at the waist.
I love this colour on Glenn. The deep moss green has an almost sinister quality, while the volume and unusual proportions give the gown a commanding presence.
The styling takes things even further. The long black leather gloves and cane add to the imposing effect, while her sculpted blonde curls and emerald-accented earrings bring glamour to the look.
Glenn plays Drusilla Sickle, the ruthless Capitol escort responsible for District 12’s tributes, which makes this fashion choice particularly interesting. There’s something wonderfully appropriate about seeing her embrace such an intimidating silhouette for a character who is anything but sympathetic.
