Elle Fanning Meets Effie Trinket in Robert Wun Couture

While Mckenna Grace was busy bringing the film’s poster to life, Elle Fanning was embracing the eccentricity of Effie Trinket at the London premiere of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, while still giving us everything we love about Elle.

The actress wore a Robert Wun Fall 2026 Couture dress featuring a sculptural strapless bodice with exaggerated, rippling peplum details and a voluminous tulle skirt.

This is where I think Elle and Effie meet perfectly. The architectural silhouette and matching headpiece, featuring a miniature ballerina, have the eccentricity we associate with Effie, while the soft pink colour and ballet-inspired details are classic Elle Fanning.

I also love that she kept the headpiece from the runway. It’s such an important part of the look, and without it, I don’t think the connection to Effie’s extravagant Capitol wardrobe would have been quite as strong.

The one change was the footwear, with Elle opting for classic pink pumps instead of the sculptural runway shoes, which I can understand considering runway shoes may not have been that comfortable to walk in for a long period.

Between Mckenna’s intricate landscape gown and Elle’s playful take on Effie’s style, this London premiere is giving us exactly the kind of fashion storytelling I live for during a press tour.
