2026 Academy Museum Gala Menswear Red Carpet Roundup
Several of the men’s looks have already featured in the designer roundups, but there were still plenty worth discussing from Saturday’s 2026 Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.

A Ray Of Sunshine
Diego Calva continued his love affair with Loewe’s tonal shirt-and-tie combinations, this time in a striking shade of yellow. Against the black tuxedo, the colour is even more appealing. So long as there are other colours on the colour wheel, I can see this trend, or should I say Loewe styling, continuing for some time.

Artisanal Appeal
Charles Melton wore an ERL Artisanal look with generous trousers that are very much in keeping with the current menswear mood. It works for him because of his frame. The decorative details on the jacket give the look an individual touch.

Shades On
Jacob Elordi x Bottega Veneta x shades. We have been here several times before. I would really love to see something a bit different, not even in terms of style, but colour or fabric. Until then, this is just Groundhog Day for me.

Double The Style
Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo of La Bola Negra gave us two sides of tailoring. Javier Ambrossi made velvet feel heavy in this three-piece suit, while Javier Calvo took the more traditional, and cleaner route in Gucci.

The Finishing Touches
Justin Timberlake ensured he stood out in this Tom Ford suit, thanks to the patterned fabric and floral brooch.

Less Is More
If you’re like me, your eyes fell straight to the cropped, flared trousers of Milo Quifes’ Celine look. And you know what? He’s pulling them off, much to my surprise. I like the simplicity, especially with the Aura slippers featuring the house’s Triomphe detail.

White Tie
Reece Feldman continues his relationship with Dior, giving traditional eveningwear a slightly playful update with small details: the white bow tie, medallion shoes and brooches.

Brown Is The New Black
I would have been sold on Taylor Zakhar Perez’s custom Amiri suit had the satin lapels been a shade of brown closer to the rest of the tailoring.

Classic With Character
Tom Rhys Harries wore Burberry, with the brooch adding a little personality.
