Demi Moore wore Standing Ground to the 2026 Academy Museum Gala

Demi Moore returned to the red carpet for the 2026 Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Wearing a look that combined sculptural design with classic evening glamour, the actress selected a Standing Ground Fall 2026 strapless gown, with a curved neckline and sculpted hips that create a distinctive hourglass shape.

I do find the draping of the skirt a little laboured, with more fabric than I feel the design needs. However, that dusty lavender shade is beautiful against the fitted black bodice, and I appreciate seeing Demi in something other than an entirely black gown.

I’m also pleased she wore her hair up. With so much going on, her signature long hair would have been one more element competing for attention. The updo allows us to appreciate the shape of the bodice, while her Chopard diamond earrings, from the Haute Joaillerie Collection, amplified the glamour.
