A Vintage Revelation

Camila Cabello paired a Michael Brambila bustier with a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 1998 silk chiffon skirt featuring a Virgin Mary print and diamanté embellishments, adding a scarf detail to complete the look.

What I love about this combination is how naturally the bustier fits into the Dolce & Gabbana aesthetic. The corseted silhouette has been part of the house’s identity for decades, so despite being from a different designer, it feels entirely at home alongside the archival skirt.

The religious imagery is also unmistakably Dolce & Gabbana, making this a clever marriage of vintage fashion and contemporary design. Chopard jewellery completed the look.

A Welcome Colour Combination

Simu Liu opted out of traditional black tie in favour of a burgundy Dolce & Gabbana double-breasted suit with a bright pink shirt.

I’m always happy to see men embracing colour at these events, and the combination of burgundy and pink is particularly appealing. The relaxed fit gives the tailoring a less formal feel, although I would have preferred a slightly cleaner break at the hem of his trousers.

Keeping It Classic

Bill SkarsgÃ¥rd, who hasn’t adopted his brother Alexander’s more experimental approach to fashion, kept things classic in a black Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo.

The Bill clearly isn’t interested in pushing fashion boundaries in the same way as his brother. And that’s perfectly fine. There’s always room for a well-cut tuxedo on the red carpet.
