Nicole Kidman Marks Her Emmys Return in Custom Chanel

Nicole Kidman is attending the Emmy Awards for the first time in nine years, where she is nominated as an executive producer of Margo’s Got Money Troubles in the Outstanding Comedy Series category.

The Chanel ambassador wore a custom white bustier dress embellished with 46 flowers made from layered pieces of silk crepe, silk organza and raffia, all rendered in subtle shades of white.

I’m so enamoured by the sculpted silhouette contrasted with the softness of the flowers, but I’m really disappointed by the black satin Chanel pumps. They feel so abrupt with this dress.

That is not to say I wanted the trending white pumps with this look. I honestly don’t think they would have worked either, and especially not the two-tone Chanel pumps.

What this look needed was a subtle silver sandal to complement the Chanel High Jewelry, which included a gorgeous pair of Signature Ultime earrings in 18k white gold and diamonds, beautifully showcased by her face-framing updo.

A Chanel Print ring in 18k white gold, diamonds and black lacquer, and a Ruban ring in 18k white gold and diamonds completed her look.
