Kaia Gerber Wore Prada To ‘The Shards’ Berlin Premiere

Kaia Gerber continued promoting The Shards at the Berlin premiere held at AchtBerlin on Monday evening.

It feels like we have seen her in a lot of black, but for this occasion she opted for a white Prada two-piece.

As expected, Kaia carried the minimalist look with ease. As a model, she knows how to sell clean, uncomplicated silhouettes. But this outfit wasn’t without its issues.

The pulling across the front of the top was distracting, and the rear view revealed that the three hook-and-eye closures, which likely explains the tension across the bodice.

Unfortunately, the styling didn’t help matters. The frosted white eye makeup washed her out, and the deep side-part with the hair swept across her forehead remains a hairstyle I’ve never warmed to.

The outfit had potential, but the hair and makeup sapped much of its appeal. Even so, I’m relieved to see her step away from the succession of black looks, as the change in colour was long overdue.
