Camila Mendes Delivers Three Glamorous ‘Masters Of The Universe’ Premiere Looks

Camila Mendes, who plays warrior captain Teela in Masters Of The Universe, has served up three standout looks while promoting the film throughout the month of May, and what I’ve appreciated most is the range. Rather than locking into one predictable formula or leaning too heavily into fantasy dressing, each premiere offered something distinct while still feeling unmistakably glamorous.

LA Premiere

The first look was custom Cong Tri gown styled with Bvlgari jewels, delivering full red-carpet glamour with a coppery sequinned finish and dramatic scarf detail that swept from the shoulders like a built-in train. It had the kind of old-Hollywood sweep that naturally commands attention. This was high glamour with presence, and she sold every inch of it.

London Premiere

If you’re anything like me, Camila’s custom Anna October white satin halter gown instantly brings to mind Angelina Jolie in Marc Bouwer at the 2004 Oscars. That plunging neckline and liquid drape carried the same sultry elegance, while the styling kept things modern with Retrofête’s Sunset necklace in pearl stone. This felt like a quieter kind of glamour after the sparkle of Los Angeles, but no less effective.

Berlin Premiere

And last night she looked breathtaking again, wearing a stunning vintage Roberto Cavalli leopard-print gown. Between the peek-a-boo bra, body-skimming silhouette, and dramatic pooled hem, this felt unapologetically glamorous in that unmistakably Cavalli way. After the sleek sophistication of London, I love that she switched gears entirely and embraced something bolder and more decadent to close out this run of premieres.

As much as I am an Cavalli enthusiast, I’m drawn to the Anna October look here. Which look stands out for you?
