Alexa Chung Wore Dior Haute Couture To ‘The Man I Love’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere
Alexa Chung was supporting her beau Tom Sturridge at the late-night premiere of his upcoming film, The Man I Love, during the Cannes Film Festival this evening.
The British star wore a Dior Haute Couture light blue hammered satin gown featuring a dramatic black satin bow at the front and a sheer navy chiffon skirt embroidered with black and blue organza flowers.
There is something so beautifully old-world about this look. The softly draped satin, delicate shimmer of the fabric, and romantic floral embroidery gave the gown a dreamy quality that felt perfectly suited to Cannes after dark.
The back of the gown might actually be my favourite angle. The fluid draping cascading from the low back creates such an elegant line as she moved up the Palais steps.
Her diamond earrings and bracelet added just the right amount of sparkle, while the softly waved bob and understated makeup kept the look feeling relaxed and beautifully unfussy.
