Sydney Sweeney Wore Pierre Cardin To The ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Premiere
Sydney Sweeney attended the LA premiere of HBO’s Euphoria Season 3, held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Tuesday.

As we know, her stylist Molly Dickson loves an archival moment, which has proven successful with her other client, Keke Palmer.
While there have been success stories with Sydney – most notably her ode to Marilyn Monroe in vintage Cecil Chapman, worn to the Santa Barbara International Film Festival back in February – this Pierre Cardin white dress will not join that short list.
This is a case of the dress wearing the person, not the other way around.
Pierre Cardin’s aesthetic leans architectural and futuristic, but here the execution feels oddly heavy. On Sydney, it loses definition, feels weighed down, and comes across as too much fabric without enough purpose.
The cape-like sleeves and volume add bulk in all the wrong places. Sydney has a naturally soft, curvier silhouette, and instead of skimming the body, the draping sits on top of it, creating a blocky shape that works against her proportions rather than complementing them.
Then we have the high-low hemline, which cuts her legs at an unflattering point and shortens her rather than elongating, especially with the weight of the fabric falling at the front. The eye is pulled downward, which only emphasises the imbalance created by the top half.
I find the belt a bit cheesy, but I do appreciate that it creates a focal point and helps define the waist. Without it, there would be even less structure to hold the look together.
I’ll say it again, her style needs a complete overhaul.
Stylist: Molly Dickson.
