My sister rarely sends me runway looks, but when this dress appeared on the Fall 2026 runway, she immediately asked who I knew at Chanel because she wanted it for a wedding. After seeing it on Jessie Buckley, she quickly withdrew that request, and I understand why. Jessie isn’t quite selling it here.
Soft Glamour
Sarah Pidgeon looked every inch the Chanel ambassador in this pale blue embellished lace dress, with the colour doing a lot of the work here. The soft blue feels fresh, while the lace detailing gives the look a delicate feel, giving it plenty of presence to stand out in the room.
Statement Coat, Instant Claim
Teyana Taylor was front row at Chanel’s Fall 2026 show, and when this colourful, fur-like coat walked the runway, she photographed it and clocked it as hers on the spot. Five days later, it was. She sells it with such conviction that I’m even on board with the two-tone Chanel boots.
Not A Fan
Outside of the main event, Elle Fanning made LBDs part of her weekend wardrobe. I don’t love her in black; she thrives in softer palettes, which bring far more light to her overall look.
Sheer In Chanel
Everything we have seen from this Chanel Spring 2026 Haute Couture collection so far has leaned into sheer, with Lily-Rose Depp joining Margot Robbie and Nicole Kidman. But there is no denying how well Lily-Rose sells this, bringing that effortless French insouciance that makes even the most delicate, revealing pieces feel entirely natural rather than styled.
Sheer Switch-Up
Kristen Stewart is always looking to refresh her Chanel suit formula, and it was only a matter of time before she explored sheer. On this occasion, it pays off.
Classic, With A Twist
Nicole Kidman kept things within her comfort zone with her white Chanel suit, accented with ladybird details that add a subtle point of interest.
A Familiar Chanel Repeat
Nicole Kidman would have recognised Rose Byrne’s Chanel Pre-Fall 2026 look instantly, having worn it herself to the Haute Couture show in January. This is now the third outing for the dress, following Anamaria Vartolomei.
