Alexander Skarsgård Wore Dior To The ‘Pillion’ Berlin Screening
For those of you who thought Alexander Skarsgård’s red carpet antics were confined to his fun press run for Pillion in 2025, it looks like the Swedish actor is bringing that same energy into 2026, stepping out for a Berlin special screening on Friday night.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this screening came at his request, because it’s clear he’s not ready for this press tour to end.
He stepped out in a purple embellished tank top from the Dior Fall 2026 collection, inspired by a 1922 design by couturier Paul Poiret. The reference is interesting, and it aligns with the direction he has been leaning into throughout this tour, playful, subversive, and a little unexpected, so the choice itself makes sense within the narrative he has built. This is actually the kind of look I expected to see from Harry Styles on his return, especially considering they share the same stylist. We’ve seen him commit to this lane before, from the backless Ludovic de Saint Sernin top in London to this more decorative take in Berlin.

Where this look loses me is in the fit. On the runway, the piece sits with more ease on the body, allowing the embellishment and silhouette to read cleanly. Here, it feels too tight across his torso, which compresses the shape and makes the top look restrictive.
I don’t mind the idea at all, but the execution doesn’t quite follow through. His frame is broader than the model’s, so a size up would have given the look more balance and let the detailing breathe.
But first, this is a sample, so only one size may have been available, and second, this may well have been the intended effect given the film’s BDSM theme, so a tight, second-skin tank top works metaphorically.
Stylist: Harry Lambert.
