Rebecca Ferguson Wore Roberto Cavalli To The Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’ World Premiere

As you all know, most UK premieres take place in London, but The Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man world premiere was held in Birmingham because the story and the film are deeply rooted in the city where the original Peaky Blinders gang and much of the drama are set. It is part of the identity of the franchise, much like Manhattan is to Sex And The City, just without the cocktails and tulle dresses.

We all know how much Rebecca Ferguson gravitates towards a moody, gothic aesthetic on the red carpet, but on this occasion she shifted gears in a Roberto Cavalli Spring 2026 metallic gold froissé lamé slip dress designed by Fausto Puglisi. This was not just gold. It was molten.

The crinkled metallic finish gave the fabric a raw, almost forged quality, which interestingly mirrored the steel, grit and foundry aesthetic long associated with Peaky Blinders. Birmingham is a city built on metalwork and manufacturing, and this dress read like liquid brass under flash photography.

The gown itself was cut in a lean, body skimming silhouette with a lace trimmed neckline that introduced a subtle lingerie inflection. The low cut back and fluid drape kept the look sultry, while the crushed lamé ensured it never felt delicate. It was sensual yet strong enough to hold its own against the industrial backdrop.

Visually, standing in front of the oversized gold letter branding created a striking image and reinforced the sense that this was deliberately cohesive, not coincidental.

She kept the styling unfussy with a purposely messy braid and gold jewels, stripping everything back so the texture, tone and light catching finish remained the focal point.
