Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Santa Barbara International Film Festival: Virtuosos Award
Jacob Elordi, realising that this khaki green worked wonders for him at the London premiere of Wuthering Heights, leaned into the formula once again, this time pairing it with a yellow shirt and paisley print tie. I personally would have taken the trousers up an inch, but this continues to be his preferred silhouette, slightly elongated and intentionally relaxed. The colour really complements his complexion, and there is a quiet confidence in sticking with what works.

Santa Barbara International Film Festival: Hammond Cinema Vanguard Award
Usually, Leonardo DiCaprio goes under the radar for me, as his style has stood still for quite some time, but this press tour for One Battle After Another, and this awards season more broadly, showcase a subtle shift. Still classic, yet cleaner and more refined in execution, as perfectly showcased by this deep brown Dior peak lapel tonal suit. The monochrome styling sharpens the overall effect, giving him a more current edge without abandoning his comfort zone.

Directors Guild Of America Awards
Oh yay. Another custom double breasted Givenchy by Sarah Burton suit for Timothée Chalamet in yet another shade of brown. The tailoring is impeccable, of course, but the repetition is starting to dull the impact. I cannot wait for awards season to wrap so he can get his mojo back.
Styled by Taylor McNeil.
