‘Wuthering Heights’ London Premiere Menswear

If you are over the thematic moments, the menswear at the Wuthering Heights London premiere offered a study in controlled tailoring, with quieter nods to the film.

Muted & Modern

Jacob Elordi’s Bottega Veneta run took a welcome turn with this tailored look, anchored by an overcoat silhouette. I was relieved it wasn’t as oversized as some of his jackets from previous outings. This is easily my favourite look of his press tour so far, with the muted sage green subtly echoing the moorlands. It reads more luxury minimalism than literary romanticism, and that works in his favour. What also made this moment was the actor’s unbothered response to the rain. Cartier jewellery completed the look.

Rain-Ready

Shazad Latif’s HermĆØs Fall 2025 look delivered refined modern tailoring. The yellow turtleneck lifts the palette, while the waxed pique coat was a smart choice given the persistent rain. Beyond practicality, it also modernised the look in keeping with his impressive press tour so far.

expectedly Goth

Ewan Mitchell’s dunhill suit is arguably the most thematically aligned with the film. The stark black tailoring and clean, austere lines echo Victorian masculine formality, though it is probably more accurate to say that this feels as rooted in Ewan’s own gothic-leaning style narrative as it does in the story itself. The one thing missing for me was a brooch. One of Margot Robbie’s archival Boucheron pieces would have elevated this look further.
