Sabrina Carpenter Wore Two Valentino Looks For The 2026 Grammy Awards
Sabrina Carpenter was nominated in six categories at the 2026 Grammys, including Album of the Year for Man’s Best Friend, and Song of the Year for Manchild, which she performed live during the ceremony.
Her two looks were were Valentino creations by Alessandro Michele.
Romantic Fantasy
For the red carpet, I loved how the sheer beading, soft illusion, and body-skimming silhouette echoed 1930s lingerie gowns and old Hollywood boudoir dressing, while the tiered ruffles and sweetness nodded to ’70s revival romanticism. It felt like vintage Valentino by way of fantasy, very Michele-coded. Sabrina’s red carpet looks do not tend to leave a lasting impression for me.
If you asked me to recall any of her looks from 2025, the only one that springs to mind is her JW Anderson look from last year’s event. This Valentino gown is easily one of her best looks to date. Chopard jewels completed her look.
Vintage Opulence, Pop Star Shine
For her second look of the night, Sabrina shifted gears in a Valentino Spring 2026 Haute Couture dress from the Specula Mundi collection. On the model, the beaded bustier and elongated skirt, heavy with silver microbeads and antiqued detailing, brought to mind a Byzantine icon brought to life.
If we didn’t know better, this could easily be mistaken for a vintage piece, as the fringe and oxidised finishes give it an aged quality.
On Sabrina, however, it is fully injected with pop star princess energy. I would not be surprised if Jennifer Lopez is kicking herself for missing out on this one. It very much feels like a J.Lo dress.
