Olandria Carthen Makes Her Front Row Debut At Rahul Mishra

Olandria Carthen made her front row Haute Couture Fashion Week debut at the Rahul Mishra Spring 2026 Couture show on Monday, and as you’ve come to expect, she stood out.

You could not miss her in this Rahul Mishra Fall 2025 Couture look, which is doing exactly what the designer does best: refusing a conventional silhouette and create wearable sculptures.

At first glance, it is hard to pin down the shape because it is not designed to read flat or front on. The gold surface is engineered into a sweeping, petal-like form that wraps around the body and spirals outward, almost like a single oversized bloom frozen mid-opening.

The density of the gold embellishment gives the look immense presence, allowing the sculptural form to hold itself away from the body.

I know what you’re thinking: with that architectural exterior and micro length, how did she sit in this look, and how did she not obstruct the view of other attendees?

Well, it appears she was seated comfortably, although the man behind her was likely craning his neck to catch the full collection as it moved down the runway.

With her skin shimmering in gold and matching gold pumps, this look was a lot — but a lot that Olandria handled with ease.
