Jessie Buckley Wore Dior To The 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards
I had tempered my expectations for Jessie Buckley, as recent style choices had left me cautious, so I approached this awards season with reservations rather than anticipation.

But in the space of 24 hours, Jessie has made me rethink that stance. Did we perhaps I judged too quickly and too harshly?
Following the Palm Springs International Film Awards, her appearance at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards on Sunday evening marked another noticeable style shift. Wearing a look from the Dior Pre-Fall 2026 collection, the Irish actress continued stepping into a fresher, more forward-facing lane—and once again, I found myself pleasantly surprised.

The wrap-style top, finished with those trailing side bow accents, might divide opinion, but removing them would have flattened the look entirely. A simple top and black trousers would have sent us straight back to 2025—and that’s not what I wanted to see.
What this look offers instead is progression. It feels understated, yet noticeably less conservative. I wanted far less Hillary Clinton and far more awards-season confidence, even if muted—and that’s exactly where this lands for me.

From the sleek hair to the striking Boucheron statement earrings, the styling played a crucial role in pulling everything together. My faith is renewed—cautiously so, but renewed nonetheless. Jessie Buckley may just be finding her footing again, which puts her back on the one-to-watch list.

Stylist: Danielle Goldberg.
