Lily Collins Delves Into Fendi & Cavalli Archives For ‘Emily In Paris’ Season 5 Press Tour
As Lily Collins gears up for the return of Emily In Paris Season 5, she’s been serving a wardrobe that leans heavily — and delightfully — into the archives. Between Fendi’s late-’90s treasures and Roberto Cavalli’s mid-2000s nostalgia, she’s giving us the exact level of fashion play you want from someone promoting a show built on Parisian fantasy, chaos, and couture ambition.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Arrival
Lily arrived at NBC in a Fendi Fall/Winter 1997 geometric sheer-effect dress, topped with an archival fox-and-feather coat that instantly set the tone. The red vintage Fendi Baguette added the pop of colour the look needed, while the Fendi Acro boots kept it sharp.

This is precisely the lane Lily thrives in: referential, and aligned with the spirit of Emily Cooper — a woman who treats the sidewalk like a runway.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Departure
For her exit, Lily switched to a Fendi Resort 2026 embroidered bustier mini dress with a peplum that resembles shattered stained glass. It couldn’t be more “Lily Collins” if it tried — sculpted, sparkly, and sweetened by a silhouette she always gravitates towards. Aquazzura Love Affair pumps completed her look.

Good Morning America
As much as I want to wax lyrical about Lily’s Roberto Cavalli Spring 2006 giraffe-print trench coat, I know you instantly recognised the purple sequin Fendi Baguette. It hails from the 1997 collection, but it reached iconic status thanks to Sex and the City. Carrie Bradshaw made it famous in the unforgettable scene where she’s mugged and tells the thief, “It’s a Bag-uette!” That moment cemented the bag as a cultural symbol of early-2000s fashion. It’s also widely considered the first true It bag.
Now back to the trench coat. The reason I’m equally giddy about it is because it takes me straight back to 2006, when Victoria Beckham was Posh Spice, it was peak WAG era, the 2006 World Cup was around the corner, and she was the undisputed chief WAG. Victoria wore this same print to a party in London that May. This Cavalli collection always gives me so much nostalgia.
Season 5 of Emily In Paris drops all 10 episodes at once on December 18 — so prepare for more fashion discourse in bulk.
