2025 Gotham Film Awards: Menswear Edition
Here is a look at the men who graced the red carpet at the 2025 Gotham Film Awards on Monday in New York City.

Textured Tailoring Win
Jacob Elordi has been so committed to the classic tux silhouette that a change of pace felt inevitable, and Giorgio Armani Made to Measure proved to be the right pivot. The double-breasted shawl-collar jacket paired with the charcoal tweed overcoat, silk shirt and patterned tie brings a new richness to his red carpet identity. It’s still undeniably “Jacob,” just with more tonal nuance. And thank goodness — we need all the variety we can get before awards season turns into its annual parade of black and white.

Tailored And Assured
Michael B. Jordan rocked a Prada look that was typically unfussy, clean, and sharp. His press tour for ‘Sinners’ saw him stepping out in labels like Yohji Yamamoto, but since his return to the spotlight it’s been classic all the way — and honestly, I’m not complaining.

Pinstripes With Personality
Ethan Hawke will always keep us guessing, but when he decides to play it classic, he can deliver a masterclass. His Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann pinstripe suit had a suave, slightly old-school charm, offset by the cheeky blue polka-dot tie.

Smart But Bordering Casual
I adore Oscar Isaac’s style, but this look leans more “press event” than “ceremony.” The blazer helps, but the base feels a little too relaxed for the occasion — though he still radiates that low-key charisma only Oscar Isaac can get away with.

Petrol Blue Perfection
Wagner Moura has me swooning over this petrol blue double-breasted blazer. I just can’t resist that colour or that sheen. Stuart Weitzman shoes completed his look.

rerun
The first person who would have recognised Will Price’s Dior Spring 2026 green-and-black wool tweed Bar jacket is Rihanna, because her son Riot Rose wore it to The Smurfs premiere.
