Which Jeff Goldblum ‘Wicked: For Good’ Press Tour Look Was Your Favourite?

For the Wicked: For Good press tour Jeff Goldblum staged a full fashion revue, dipping into Oz-inspired whimsy without ever losing his unmistakable sense of style. It was theatrical but never costume-y, clever without being gimmicky, and delivered with the kind of joy only Jeff can bring to a look.

The Paris premiere gave us our first clue that this press tour would revolve around one hero element: a statement coat. The feathered Saint Laurent number set an early pace, announcing that textures and silhouettes were going to be part of the fun.

From there we travelled through wool, velvet, leather, and even a cape moment that felt like cinema promo meets chic storyteller.

My personal favourite was, unsurprisingly, the Saint Laurent — the drama, the presence, the elegance. But right behind it was the floral Craig Green and the all white Gabriela Hearst, tied for second because they captured Jeff’s ability to play print and then go full monochrome.

The charm of this press run is that while each look nodded softly to Oz, none of it felt forced. These outfits weren’t worn for the film so much as they flowed from Jeff’s existing sartorial instincts. He didn’t dress as the Wizard — he simply leaned into what makes his style so distinct: bold coats, unexpected colours, and a theatrical confidence that makes every entrance a moment.

This is how you do a themed press tour that still feels entirely your own.

Stylist: Andrew T. Vottero.
