Emma Stone Wore Louis Vuitton To The ‘Bugonia’ Venice Film Festival Photocall
Emma Stone made her first red carpet appearance for her new film Bugonia at the Venice Film Festival photocall this afternoon, and it’s safe to say the mood was a little different from her usual run of maxi floral dresses.

If you’ve watched the newly released trailer for Bugonia, her pixie cut (first debuted back at the Golden Globes) is finally clicking into place.
For today’s outing, she wore a black Louis Vuitton halter dress layered with an asymmetric lace skirt. At first glance, it reads ever so slightly beachy—like Emma had just taken a dip in the Adriatic, grabbed a chic cover-up, and strolled straight to the photocall. And yet, it works. The lightness of the lace, combined with her easy energy, makes the whole thing feel fresh and breezy rather than too casual for me.
Styling was kept minimum with strappy Manolo Blahnik Leva sandals, an Elsa Peretti® Snake bangle, and a Louis Vuitton ear cuff that brought a modern edge.
Is it groundbreaking? No. But after endless floral maxi dresses, this feels like a much-needed palate cleanser—one that suits this Venice setting.
