Celebrities at the 2025 Venice Film Festival Opening Ceremony
There were many more ladies who joined the likes of Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton on the opening night red carpet for the La Grazia premiere at the Venice Film Festival—and let’s just say, the style variety was as wide as the Grand Canal.

Second Skin, but Make It Couture
Fernanda Torres flipped the script and gave us something truly unexpected in a skin-tone Armani Privé Spring 2025 jacket and coordinating trousers. After months of all black, this wasn’t a timid introduction to neutral dressing—Fernanda jumped in, two feet first, with one of the sleekest looks of the night, dazzling with embellishments that gave the outfit both texture and sparkle.

Silver Screen
As the godmother of this year’s festival (hosting both the opening and closing ceremonies), Emanuela Fanelli knew the moment called for impact. She delivered in a strapless silver Armani Privé gown, shimmering with tonal embellishments. The look had main character energy—fitting, considering she’s carrying the weight of opening night.

Punk Goes to the Palazzo
Italian singer Rose Villain showed up with a blue mohawk, gold chainmail, and all the confidence in the world. Her Vivienne Westwood corset dress, complete with fingerless opera gloves, was every bit as rebellious as you’d expect, yet it still read glamorous under the Venice lights. This was a case of the right dress, on the right woman, at the right time.

Quiet Elegance Still Speaks Loudly
Not everyone came to make noise, and Anna Ferzetti proved that simplicity still has its place. She chose a strapless black Alberta Ferretti gown—classic, restrained, and beautifully elegant. It might not scream for attention, but it whispers sophistication.
