Maria Sharapova Wore Gabriela Hearst To The International Tennis Hall of Fame
Maria Sharapova retired from tennis in February 2022 after achieving 36 WTA Tour-level singles titles, including five major titles. To celebrate this milestone, she was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame during the 2025 Induction Celebration weekend in Newport, R.I., on Saturday.

If you have been here for a while, you will remember that Maria’s early red carpet years were full of looks that felt like an extension of her on-court style: tennis-inspired dresses with a touch more flair, often from her go-to label of the time, David Koma.
As the years have gone by, the former tennis player has refined her red carpet choices and often aligns herself with sustainable fashion labels such as Gabriela Hearst.
For this occasion, Gabriela Hearst created a custom ivory silk crepe-back satin Brigita slip dress and a silk duchesse organic wave fil coupé fur Hillman cape, which were both elegant and refined, especially when styled with Gabriela Hearst’s Edwina ivory leather pumps.

If you’re anything like me, you are saying “yes” to the dress and the overall styling, which also included the Gabriela Hearst Demi clutch — carried by everyone from Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, to Demi Moore. However, I do wish the hair had been much sleeker; it feels too casual for this look.
