Saks on Amazon Hosts Hamptons Style Soirée
On Thursday, Saks Fifth Avenue and Amazon Fashion joined forces to celebrate the launch of Saks on Amazon—a curated luxury storefront bringing the best of Saks Fifth Avenue to Amazon’s Luxury Stores. Co-hosted by Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, the Hamptons soirée was both a toast to summer shopping and the kick-off to a weekend of designer-led activities showcasing some of the platform’s most coveted fashion and beauty brand partners.
The intimate gathering took place at The Hedges Inn in East Hampton, drawing designers, friends of the brands, and clients for an evening that felt effortlessly glamorous. With the sun-kissed setting and a guest list full of stylish names, the event proved that summer dressing in the Hamptons is a sartorial sport all its own.

The hostess with the floral flair
Gabrielle Union channelled breezy Hamptons elegance in a Johanna Ortiz Micaela The Old Garden embellished floral dress. Its muted tones and intricate detailing made it feel garden-party ready, which she styled with a Stella McCartney bag. She made hosting look as easy as a sip of rosé on a summer lawn.

Cool and casual
Dwyane Wade took a laid-back approach without losing his sharp edge. His beige Balmain polo had a soft, luxe finish that worked seamlessly with tailored grey Fear of God trousers. The look felt like the uniform of a man who’s both ready for a Hamptons dockside lunch and a quick courtside appearance—sleek, approachable, and quietly expensive.

Summer postcard perfection
And then there was Naomi Watts, delivering the kind of effortless chic that makes you want to throw away your entire winter wardrobe. The actress is never more in her element than in the Hamptons, and this Erdem guipure lace shirtdress was proof. Paired with a printed headscarf and espadrille wedges, the ensemble looked like it had stepped straight off a vintage travel poster—effortless, romantic, and quintessentially East End.
Just when you thought the floral spotlight was hers alone, Alexandra Daddario bloomed onto the scene.

When florals meet the Italian Riviera (in the Hamptons)
Alexandra Daddario’s Dolce & Gabbana floral mini dress brought vibrant colour to the garden-party mix. Matching wedges kept the mood playful, with a tan Hermès Birkin completing the look. A refreshing pivot from her usual skin-tone hues, this was garden glamour with a Mediterranean twist.

A red-and-black showstopper
Of course, a soirée like this demands at least one sweeping gown moment—and Sabrina Elba delivered it without breaking a sweat, turning heads in a Jason Wu Collection tie-dye pleated gown that danced between fiery vibrance and moody sophistication. I like how this tie-dye effect feels elevated rather than bohemian—a rare, masterful balance. She looked like she could have just stepped off the set of a romantic summer film.

Palm prints and perfect pastels
Nicky Hilton Rothschild embraced tropical charm in a Johanna Ortiz Wave After Wave mini dress featuring a lively palm print. A raffia bag and pink pumps brought just the right amount of sweetness to offset the vacation-ready print.

Legs for days and Hamptons heat
Model Kate Love showed off her endless pins in a red Azeeza dress that combined simplcity with bold colour. The result was pure head-turning energy.
