While Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers went off-script in beige and fuchsia pink, Catherine Zeta-Jones stayed loyal to the legacy of Morticia Addams at the Wednesday Season 2 premiere in London—but not without giving it her own twist.

Wearing a black Stéphane Rolland Couture gown, Catherine brought full-on drama with a glam sensibility. The backless, keyhole halter silhouette dripped with elegance, while a cascade of ruffles from the neckline gave the look its sweeping sense of movement. The gown’s embellishments shimmered like constellations, giving the effect of a midnight sky.

Yes, there were gothic cues—her smoky eye, dark berry lip, and gold ear cuffs—but overall this was a more typical to Catherine’s high-glamour. Refined and statuesque, but with just enough theatricality to link back to the show’s dark undercurrent.

It’s Morticia reimagined: less crypt, more couture. And for Catherine, it was a pitch-perfect balance of character homage and her signature elegance.
