Emma Myers Wore McQueen To The ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 London Premiere

Following Sunday’s photocall, Emma Myers returned to the spotlight for the Wednesday Season 2 premiere at Central Hall Westminster—and immediately broke from what could’ve been a very expected style script.

With a show like Wednesday, you anticipate a black-heavy red carpet, and rightly so. But Emma swerved the shadows in favour of fuchsia, wearing a corseted, lace-embellished dress from the McQueen Fall 2025 collection, which debuted on the runway in black, so this colour pivot instantly made the look feel lighter, fresher, and more unexpected for the occasion.

The choice lands especially interestingly when you consider that just one night before, Lily Newmark wore a red lace McQueen number to the Alien: Earth premiere in London. That look had a lot more theatricality and ruffled drama. Emma’s, by comparison, felt sweeter and softer—less alien queen, more punky ballerina.

While she avoided a too-on-the-nose runway replica by skipping the matching lace tights and boots, the metallic red Jimmy Choo Etana sandals didn’t quite hit the right note for me. They felt slightly off-tone with the rest of the look, which had such a rich, romantic texture. Still, the colour choice and silhouette marked a standout moment in a sea of anticipated darkness. A small rebellion in fuchsia.
