Selena Gomez’s Soft Matte Rare Beauty Lip Moment

For her latest outing, Selena Gomez kept her makeup soft, fresh, and centred around a beautifully balanced lip, thanks to celebrity makeup artist Soo Park. Using only products from Selena’s own Rare Beauty line, the look highlighted the power of a perfect nude-pink pout.

Soo started by defining Selena’s lips with the Kind Words Matte Lip Liner in Talented—a muted pink that creates structure without harshness. The creamy texture allowed for a smooth, precise outline while blending seamlessly into the lips. To build on that base, the Kind Words Matte Lipstick in the same Talented shade was applied, delivering velvety pigment and a soft-matte finish that looked plush without being drying.

To top it all off, Soo added a touch of the Stay Vulnerable Glossy Lip Balm in Nearly Petal to the centre of the lips, giving the look just enough shine to catch the light while maintaining the subtlety of a lived-in lip. The overall effect was soft, romantic, and very Selena—proof that a good lip combo really can tie the whole look together.
