Scarlett Johansson Wore Prada To The ‘Eleanor the Great’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall & Screening

After Eleanor the Great received a five-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival premiere, Scarlett Johansson returned to the Palais des Festivals for the photocall, this time in full director mode.

Dressed in head-to-toe Prada, her skirt suit didn’t come as a surprise—clean, tailored, and quietly assertive. I do miss the playfulness of her archival Prada moment at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, which had more personality and a nostalgic spark. But for a director promoting her debut feature, a look that doesn’t demand attention felt entirely intentional.

Screening

The same goes for the yesterday’s low-key screening, where Scarlett kept it understated again in a black Prada halter dress with matching pumps. It was simple, chic, and very on-brand for someone steering the ship rather than starring in it. Nothing groundbreaking, but quietly confident and in control.
