Celebrities at the TIME100 Gala
Here is a roundup from the TIME100 Gala which honoured Blake Lively, Scarlett Johansson and Serena Williams.

Not quite sticking the landing
After a stellar Olympics where Simone Biles broke her own records, the athlete was a worthy honouree at this event. However, I wasn’t sold on this Oscar de la Renta embellished cut-out mini dress from the Pre-Fall 2025 collection, which as you can see from the model, only has the desired effect when the tulle is a match to the skin tone. A Tyler Ellis clutch completed her look, but sadly, this wasn’t Simone’s gold medal fashion moment.

If it ain’t broke…
Ryan Reynolds kept things traditional in a classic tux while supporting his wife Blake Lively, who was honoured at the event. It was suave, expected, and done well – no notes.

Scherzinger sparkle
Nicole Scherzinger looked beautiful wearing a black, off-the-shoulder sequin gown from Zuhair Murad’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection. With Fred Leighton jewels, it was glam without trying too hard – a win for Nicole.

Not who I thought it was
Lindsey Vonn, who I thought was Rumer Willis at first glance, dazzled in a Balenciaga embellished high-neck long-sleeved dress. The gown had a vintage-inspired elegance that worked really well on her.

Casual Friday snuck into Thursday night
I have so many issues with Kristen Bell’s Carolina Herrera jumpsuit. Mostly because the styling made the one-piece appear more casual than it is. Better glam, higher heels and this look could have lived up to the gala’s grandeur. Gabriel & Co. jewels completed her look, but it needed more.

Suiting up with South Korean flair
Adam Scott was looking very dapper in his tux from South Korean label, TONYWACK. Sleek, smart, and perfectly tailored. A great example of letting cut do the talking.

Tailoring with a twist
Adrien Brody did the contemporary tailoring thing wearing a Louis Vuitton shawl collar suit with pink flower-accented buttons and matching flared trousers. He skipped the bow tie (unlike Ryan and Adam), giving his look a modern edge, and I have to say, it paid off.
