Scarlett Johansson Wore Tom Ford To The TIME100 Gala
Before Scarlett Johansson hits the Croisette for the premiere of Eleanor the Great, her directorial debut at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, she stepped out for the 2025 TIME100 Gala looking every bit the seasoned Hollywood icon.
Wearing a black Tom Ford halterneck gown, Scarlett leaned into her usual brand of understated elegance—clean lines, minimal fuss, and just enough glamour to hold our attention. The gold David Yurman jewellery was a smart pairing, echoing the gold accent on her dress and giving the whole look that sleek, coordinated edge.
The bronze eye makeup added a soft warmth to the overall vibe, but I was quietly rooting for a richer lip—something with a touch more drama than the nude hue she went with.
With her hair pulled into a simple bun, it was all very chic, very streamlined, very Scarlett. That said, I’m crossing my fingers that she leans into a bit more theatrical flair for Cannes. Less minimalist muse, more Rebecca Hall in directorial mode high drama. We know she’s got it in her.
