Neiman Marcus Welcomes Schiaparelli’s Daniel Roseberry to Los Angeles
Neiman Marcus hosted a party at John Sowden House in California on Thursday (October 12), where they welcomed Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry to Los Angeles, with many celebrities in attendance.
Joey King was by far the best dressed at this event for me, even though this Schiaparelli Spring 2023 look is a rerun after it was first worn by Anya Taylor-Joy, and she opted to wear those toe-cap pumps which are a little creepy.
What I love most is the styling.
Joey layered up on the Schiaparelli accessories to ensure she presented a quintessential Schiaparelli outing, without over-cooking the look, which is a skill all on its own.
Adria Arjona showcased a different side to the Schiaparelli label with this more understated look.
The Schiaparelli accessories were the stand out part of this look.
Angela Bassett was my second favourite, as she opted to let the Schiaparelli tailoring do all the talking, proving that you don’t need the Schiaparelli toe-cap pumps, or bursting eye earrings to sell the look.
While I like Demi Moore’s Schiaparelli leather trimmed suit, she kinda lost me with the styling.
Neither Demi’s white boots or the bag work with the suit in my opinion.
I would’ve loved a bit more drama from Gabrielle Union. This feels a bit quiet.
The signature Schiaparelli gold details stood out the most from Maya Rudolph’s look.
Olivia Wilde never misses an opportunity to serve up a retro moment in tailoring.
If anyone can pull off the quirky elements of Schiaparelli it’s Natasha Lyonne.
Who else is going to sell two tone boots with a lock?
Regina King looks lovely in Schiaparelli Spring 2023 velvet, but those trousers were a bit too long.
Perhaps she should have worn the same Schiaparelli shoes we saw in the look book.
With Schiaparelli you have to choose your accessories wisely.
Taraji P. Henson was almost there until she selected those Schiaparelli shoes in black.
