Morfydd Clark attended the ‘Starve Acre’ London Film Festival premiere held at the BFI Southbank on Thursday (October 12)

The actress usually opts for retro inspired looks, but she served up a stunning black Armani Privé Fall 2017 fully embroidered silk gown for this occasion.

I love the crinoline and lace shoulder detail which added to the dramatic effect of this look.

When this gown was worn by Faith Hill to the 2017 CMA Awards the country singer served up ‘80s high glamour (with a gym bun), but the mood is totally different with Morfydd.

I’m almost getting a gothic elegance with an ethereal mood.

I have a feeling that the barely-there makeup might be a deal breaker for some, but this feels like a moment where Morfydd let the dress do all the talking.
