Victoria Beckham’s First Foray Into Fragrance

Victoria Beckham has made her first foray into fragrance.
The fashion designer and beauty mogul has partnered with Master Perfumer Jérôme Epinette to create three scents inspired by significant moments in her life.
Victoria said, “My fragrance collection has been eight years in the making; it’s my most personal project to date. These fragrances are my scent autobiography. Each one is inspired by moments of my life and my relationship with David. They each take me back to a feeling, an emotion. I think that is the magic of fragrance.”

Portofino ’97 encapsulates the euphoria of a new (in this case, secret) romance. The scent was inspired by a trip to the Italian Riviera that Victoria and David shared: picture salty crisp sea air, tangy citrus, fiery black pepper, and warming amber. It’s invigorating and keeps you coming back for more.
Suite 302. Cut to 2004, when David whisked Victoria to Paris for a special honeymoon after renewing their vows. Amid the paparazzi, they found sanctuary in their hotel: Suite 302. This lavish scent blends velvety rose, slick black cherry and rich leather alongside smoky tobacco and warm spices.
San Ysidro Drive. Then we land in Los Angeles, 2007, where Victoria embarks on a restorative and transformative time in her life. San Ysidro Drive combines dewy rose and fresh peonies, wafting through a car window on the Pacific Coast Highway, followed by incense, wood and vanilla pod to conjure up the candles she used to burn at home.
