Chloë Sevigny Wore Simone Rocha To The Montblanc ‘Library Spirit: Episodes From Around The World’ NYC Launch Event

Chloë Sevigny made a return to the red carpet for The Montblanc ‘Library Spirit: Episodes From Around The World’ NYC launch event held at Stephan Weiss Studios on Wednesday (September 6) ahead of New York Fashion Week.
Looking back over the Chloë’s style file, it’s been over 12 months since I really loved a red carpet look from her, and this Simone Rocha crinkled metallic cloqué-effect coat from the Fall 2023 collection, doesn’t put her on course to change that.
Size-wise, the coat is too big, and a bit comical, and that’s even before you get to the red ribbon, which she added after being inspired by the runway.
Four years ago, Chloë would’ve served a cool look which would have made me envious of her style, but this feels like she’s trying to recreate that magic, but sadly this fell short for me.
I would only save the Giuseppe Zanotti Intriigo sandals from this look.
Thoughts?
