Olivia Wilde Wore Vintage Chloé by Karl Lagerfeld To The 2023 Met Gala

Olivia Wilde, who is usually inspired by the ‘70s, took inspiration from the ‘80s for her 2023 Met Gala look this evening.

The ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ director joined Vanessa Kirby by wearing a Chloé dress, but Olivia wore a custom gown inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s 1983 Violin dress.

Originally presented in black, Olivia’s white version featured the same high neck, side cut outs, and giant golden violin panel right in the centre.

The glittering instrument, which is embroidered with pearls and dotted with rhinestones, was styled with Wonder Woman style cuffs, which were presented as gloves on the runway.
