Taylor Swift Wore Dorothee Schumacher On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
Taylor Swift made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Monday (October 25), where she was promoting her album – ‘Midnights’ – which is well on its way to debut with 1.5 million opening week US units.
The interview aired just as her music video for ‘Bejeweled,’ one of the tracks on Taylor’s new album, launched on YouTube, so there was no escaping Miss Swift on Monday night.
Taylor, who returned to the spotlight with several dazzling moments, opted for a Dorothee Schumacher graphic print single-breasted blazer, flared trousers and turtleneck styled with Jimmy Choo boots and a selection of silver jewels.
I love when Taylor serves up something unexpected, and this was that for me.
A mini embellished dress, or short suit would’ve been expected, so I’m grateful for this road less travelled as the last time she wore a suit was almost a year ago.
That suit was velvety for the season, whereas this one has a lot more attitude which I’m totally buying into.
I have a feeling that the turtleneck will be one graphic piece too far for some, but I’m glad she’s not wearing a corseted peach summer dress in October.
